Nerve Pain

Medical cannabis can help to provide relief for nerve pain and is proven to be a natural alternative to traditional treatment options.

Nerve pain is a type of pain that affects the nervous system, and in severe cases this could negatively impact mental health and sleep. Sometimes this type of pain is the result of a previous injury, or it could occur at random. It’s usually felt in the muscles, joints or skin, but could occur elsewhere in the body.

Symptoms

Symptoms of nerve pain depend on the location and intensity of pain, but might include spontaneous pain, a tingling sensation, sensitivity to touch, and subsequent sleep issues.

Treatments

Treatments for nerve pain are typically painkillers to help ease the discomfort, though it may take some time to find the exact type, dosage and combination of pain relief you need to address your unique issues. Medications that could help alleviate nerve pain and associated symptoms include anticonvulsants and antidepressants, but medical cannabis is a known, natural alternative to traditional pain relief.
